Primary panel teachers have continued their sit-in-programme for the third consecutive day on Thursday in front of Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) demanding their appointment.
The panel teachers said they staged a sit-in-programme in front of the National Press Club but the government did not meet their demand. But at now they will continue their sit-in-programme in front of DPE until their demand is met.
“The government appointed us in 2014. We passed the written and viva tests. Age of us has ended and now there is no opportunity for new application. So, cancellation of our jobs is inhumane”, they said.
