Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has also hinted to defer the SSC and equivalent examinations next year. At the same time, she said the examinations will be held after teaching for at least three months.

Dipu Moni said, “We want to hold next year’s SSC and equivalent exams. The exams will be held after three months of classes. However, the exams are not being held at the scheduled time. Maybe a month or two later. The exams will be taken in three months as much as will be taught.”

She also said that if the educational institution is opened, they will be given classes 6 days a week.

The Minister said this in a virtual briefing over admission of the secondary level on Wednesday (November 25) noon.

Dipu Moni said, “Educational institutions will not be opened unless the infection of coronavirus is reduced. The prevalence of coronavirus seems to be increasing in recent times. In this situation, it would not be right to open educational institutions. In this situation health guidelines cannot be followed.”

She also further said, “The educational institutions will not be opened during coronavirus pandemic for this purpose.”
