Changes coming in teacher recruitment and training: Edu’ Minister

Education Minister Dipu Moni has said the government is bringing timely changes in the curriculum activities.
She said, “Changes are also taking place in teacher recruitment and training.”
The Minister said this while unveiling a mural of Bangabandhu and inaugurating the Bangabandhu and the Liberation War Corner at Government Bangla College in the capital’s Mirpur on Tuesday (December 1).
Dipu Moni said, “We are working on the use of technology and development of women-disability-friendly education infrastructure.”
She further said, “We are now putting emphasis on technical and vocational education so that the students can complete their studies and develop themselves as entrepreneurs. We do not want to create a certified unemployed.”
Dipu Moni said, “If anyone wants to destroy our history and heritage by misinterpreting religion, it will not be tolerated in any way.”
She said, “Bangladesh is a secular state. Secularism does not mean irreligion. Secularism means that all citizens of the state can practice their religion freely.”
