The Directorate of Primary Education has taken a new initiative to reduce harassment of primary teachers.
If this initiative is implemented, teachers will no longer have to go to Dhaka to resolve the problems.
They will be able to complete emergency tasks in their own district. An instruction in this regard will be issued soon.
According to the sources, teachers are to come in the capital for various institutional and personal tasks. This disrupts the students' studies. The work of teachers is also delayed due to rush to different places including the Directorate and Secretariat.
