Teachers of office-agencies to return their earlier posts

Teachers working in various departments and agencies attached under the government primary schools will be transferred to their previous workplaces.

Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) is going to issue a direction in this regard soon.

DPE officials said, some primary school teachers were transferred to various organizations including Dhaka metropolitan, several districts at different times. Of them, around 250 staff are now currently working in DEP, National Academy for Primary Education (NAPE), Bureau of Non-Formal Education, Office of the Deputy Director and other organizations.

Sources said, those teachers who were transferred to office and administrations leaving their educational institutions, they will be sent back their previous work stations. A software has been prepared from DEP to ensure attendance of teachers and officials.

When contacted, DEP director general A M Monsurul Alam said, “Teachers will not remain out of their institutions. Their task is teaching. But, they were transferred to various organization leaving teaching tasks. We have made a software in this regard.”
