DU student gets GPA 4.03 out of 4

A student from the Pharmacy Department of Dhaka University (DU) has got Grade Point Average (GPA) 4.03 in the university’s academic result although the GPA is fixed at 4.00, causing huge criticism in the department concerned.

Later, the exam committee postponed the results of all students (final exam, honours first year) in the face of criticism and published the ‘revised result’ a week after the publication of the first time result.

In the revised result, changes have come in the results of 12 students out of 68 but all of them saw a reduction in the GPA. Meanwhile, the student who secured GPA 4.03 earlier now got 3.88 in the revised result.
