8 BRUR teachers sued for national flag desecration

Two cases have been filed against nine people including eight teachers of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) for desecrating the national flag.
Ariful Islam Arif, former senior vice-president of BRUR unit of BCL, filed the first case with Tajhat police station on Thursday evening.
Officer-in-charge (investigation) of Tajhat police station Rabiul Islam confirmed the matter.
Mahmudul Haq, a teacher of the university, also filed another case against seven teachers including Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah for desecrating the national flag.
