19 universities finalize decision on cluster admission tests

The vice-chancellors (VCs) of 19 public universities have decided to hold the uniform admission test under the cluster system.
The decision was taken during the meeting of the admission test committee at Jagannath University (JnU) on Saturday (December 19).
According to the decisions, three examinations, each of 100-mark, will be taken separately for science, humanities and commerce streams, based on higher secondary syllabus. No additional test will be held for the students intended to change own streams in graduation level. Humanities department students will have to face Bangla, English, and ICT subjects.
Besides, students of science department will have to face questions from Bangla, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and ICT subjects. Commerce background students will have to face questions from Bangla, English, Accounting, Business Organization and Management, and ICT subjects.
