Cluster admission tests to be extended

The authority is considering to extend the cluster admission tests date due to the Coronavirus situation in the country.
Concern sources said that the decision will be finalized soon in this regard.
The ongoing lockdown will continue till May 5. There is also a possibility that the lockdown would be increased till Eid-ul-Fitr. In this situation, admission seekers will get 10 days after the lockdown. So, the overall admission arrangement process will be extended. As a result, there is no alternative but to extend the admission test date.
Wising anonymity, a member of admission test organizing committee said, the final application will be accepted after completing the initial application process. It will take June month to do this. Then, question formulation, question printing and other task will take time too.
Wahiduzzaman, Secretary of the Integrated Admission Committee of Universities and Registrar of Jagannath University said, considering the overall situation, it will not be possible to hold the admission test on June 19.
We will take decision in this regard soon, he added.
