Ananda Kumar acting as VC of RU

Prof Dr Ananda Kumar Saha has started working as vice chancellor of Rajshahi University (RU) after end of the tenure of Prof M Abdus Sobhan.

As per order of President Abdul Hamid, Deputy Secretary of the Education Ministry Shamima Begum gave the responsibility on Thursday evening.

Earlier, Prof Dr Ananda Kumar Saha was the pro-vice-chancellor of the university.

He is a teacher of the zoology department of the university.
