More than 3 lakh NU students get conditional auto pass

A total of 3,16,676 first year students of the National University (NU) have been given auto pass.

The disclosure was revealed in a press release on Wednesday (June 16).

According to the press release, the university authorities have decided to give conditional promotion to the honors 1st year students of the 2019-20 academic year of the national university for admission in the 2nd year.

It was not possible to arrange examinations for the students due to coronavirus epidemic. Students who have filled the form to participate in the Honors 1st year examination in 2020 have been given a conditional promotion to attend classes in the 2nd year.

The conditions include the students must have to participate in written examinations for first year once the situation becomes normal. If any student does not take part in exams or is ‘not promoted’ as per the regulations, his conditional promotion will be canceled. Detail information in this regard will be available on www.nu.ac.bd.
