How results of SSC, HSC exams to be prepared

The results of SSC, HSC and equivalent examinations this year will be held on group basis only (Science, Humanities, Commerce and other groups) for three elective subjects by reducing time and number following health guidelines.
The schedule of compulsory and optional subjects will not be held. Results will be declared by simply adding number of compulsory and optional subjects through subject mapping.
The information was revealed in a notification signed by Professor SM Amirul Islam, Controller of Examinations of Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, on Monday (July 26).
According to the notification, this year SSC and its equivalent and HSC and its equivalent examinations will be held only by reducing time and number of three group-based elective subjects. This decision has been taken due to coronavirus overdose. No exams will be held on the compulsory and optional subjects.
It was also mentioned that the results of SSC, HSC and equivalent examinations-2021 will be given through subject mapping by adding the number of optional subject on the basis of JSC and equivalent and SSC and equivalent examination marks. In this case, there will be no negative impact on admission to higher education.
At the moment, there is no opportunity to change or amend the optional subject in the registration card of the students, notification reads.
