Online admission process for schools begins

Submission of online applications for admissions to public and private schools across the country started today (November 25) and will end on December 8.

Admissions to both government and non-government schools will be based on a lottery system, according to DSHE officials.

The lottery for state-owned schools will be held on December 15, while the one for private schools will be held on December 19.
The applications are available online only on http://gsa.eletalk.com.bd.

Necessary formalities have to be completed using the state-owned phone operator Teletalk.

For the upcoming session, the government has fixed Tk110 as charge for applying to five schools simultaneously.

Last year, students from first to ninth grade were admitted on the basis of a lottery owing to the pandemic situation.
