SSC, equivalent exam results published

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations have been published today, Thursday (December 30).

After virtually joining the event from Gono Bhaban, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially published the results.

The results were published at 10:45am. The education minister received the results on behalf of the Prime Minister.

A total of 93.58 percent candidates have passed this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations.

94.08 percent candidates passed the examinations under the nine general education boards, 93.22 percent under the madrasa board and 88.49 percent under the technical education board (vocational).

Of the nine general education boards, 93.15 percent candidates passed the examinations under Dhaka board, 96.27 percent under Cumilla board, 91.12 percent under Chattogram board, 94.71 percent under Rajshahi board, 90.19 percent under Barisal board, 94.8 percent under Dinajpur board, 93.09 percent under Jashore board, 96.78 percent under Sylhet board and 97.52 percent under Mymensingh board.

Earlier, the Prime Minister inaugurated the distribution of free textbooks among students at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital.

Students can get their results through SMS and the website of the education boards.

In the first public exams in schools in nearly 20 months, some 22,27,113 students took the SSC and its equivalent exams, which started on November 14 under special rules.

The tests were held with curtailed syllabuses.
