44th BCS preliminary exam May 27

The preliminary examination of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held on May 27.

This time, 350,716 candidates have applied who will take part in the examination in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued a ban on entry to the examination center with books, watches, mobile phones, jewelry and any other device in the preliminary examination. The PSC has instructed the candidates not to bring the prohibited materials during the examination day. This information has been informed in a notification of the organization.

“If these banned items are found during the examination, the candidate concerned will be declared ineligible for all future PSC recruitment examinations, including cancellation of his candidature,” the notification said.

PSC instructions for 44th BCS candidates

At the gate of the examination hall, in the presence of the executive magistrate and the police, the candidates have to enter the examination hall via the search for banned items including mobile phones, watches, electronic devices with the help of an admitcard and metal detectors.

SMS will be sent to the mobile phones of all the examinees for not bringing the banned material mentioned on the day of the examination. The applicant has to follow the instructions in the SMS.

Candidates will not be able to cover their ears during the test, they will have to keep their ears open. If it is necessary to use any kind of hearing aid in the ear, the approval of the commission should be taken beforehand with the advice of the specialist doctor.
