Errors in textbook to be corrected: Education Minister

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said the mistakes in the new syllabus will be corrected. Don't make an issue by presenting a small mistake in a big way.

The minister said this while addressing a program at St. Gregory's High School & College in the capital on Friday (January 20).

She said the education system will be transformed in the light of the new curriculum in 2025. Skill based practical education will be one of the tools to build Smart Bangladesh.

About plagiarism allegations in the books of class VII, Dipu Moni said that trial version of all the books of the new syllabus have been printed. If there is a mistake, it will be corrected if necessary.

A vested quarter is trying to make it an issue highlighting small mistakes in a big way, the minister added.
