National Film Award winners announced

The names of recipients of National Film Award 2019 were announced under 26 categories respectively.

A gazette notification of the Information Ministry confirmed the matter on Thursday (December 3).

"No Dorai" and "Fagun Haway" have been jointly announced as the best films of 2019. Tanin Rahman Angshu is going to receive best director award for his film ‘No Dorai’.

Tariq Anam Khan has been named as the best actor and Sunerah Binte Kamal as best actress.

Besides, Fazlur Rahman Babu will receive the award for Best Supporting Actor (Male) for ‘Fagun Haway’ Nargis Aktar will get the Best Supporting Actor (Female) for ‘Maya the Lost Mother’.

Best Actor in a Negative Role award winner is Zahid Hasan for ‘Sapludu’. Earlier, he won the award in 2017 for ‘Haldaa’.
