Asaduzzaman Noor infected with Covid-19

Renowned actor, cultural personality and MP Asaduzzaman Noor has been infected with Covid-19.

Sammilita Sangskritik Jote (SSJ) President Golam Kuddus confirmed the news.

Asaduzzaman Noor received the test report on Thursday. Now, he is under home isolation, Kuddus said.

The Nilphamari 2 MP is a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Cultural Affairs Ministry.

The 74-year-old former Cultural Affairs minister received the Independence Award, the highest civilian honour in Bangladesh, in 2018.
