Film director Sajedul Awwal passes away

Film director, researcher and playwright Sajedul Awwal has passed away.

He breathed his last at his residence on Thursday evening.

Sammilito Sangaskritic Jote President Golam Quddus confirmed the news to risingbd.

Awwal was an integral part of Dhaka Theatre, having written their famous play, "Foni Monsha".

He also researched on eminent filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak, and authored a book titled "Cholochitro Chorcha".
