Producer Abdul Alim, his wife test Covid-19 positive

Producer Abdul Alim and his wife Monwara Begum have tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).

Both of them are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital.

Atikur Rahman Liton, son of Abdul Alim, confirmed the information to risingbd.

Abdul Alim, his wife and other members of his family received the second dose of coronavirus vaccine on April 15.

Informing the matter, Atikur Rahman Liton said, “My father fell sick suddenly on the night of Friday last. Then, he was taken to Bangladesh Specialized Hospital where he underwent Covid-19 test. Later, the result came out positive and my father was admitted to the hospital. Meanwhile, my mother also tested Covid-19 positive. Now, both of them are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.”

Atikur Rahman Liton has urged all to pray for the early recovery of his parents.
