Farmer Rajab Ali to sing in Tribeni tonight

Rajab Ali passed SSC in 2006. He could not continue his study due to poverty. Therefore, he started to work as a farmer and took responsibility of his family. He had no institutional education but used to sing since his childhood. Rajab Ali loves to sing in the fields, on the streets or in the yard wherever he lives. He likes modern and folk songs. He loves the songs of Indian singer-songwriter Nachiketa Chakraborty, a leading artiste of the life-oriented genre of Bengali music.

The singer, hailing from Shahjadpur upazila of Sirajganj, will join the 60th episode of a live show titled ‘Tribeni’ at 10.00pm today, Wednesday (July 07).
