Dr Asit Roy was born in a cultural family of Kishoreganj. He took a higher degree in classical music from Rabindra Bharati University. He received his PhD in classical music from the same university in 2002. He is teaching in the music department of Rajshahi University. Meanwhile, Padmini Dey is the wife of Asit Roy. Born in a music family in Tangail, she completed her graduation and post-graduation in Bangla music from Rabindra Bharati University. She obtained her PhD from Santiniketan. She has already gained a reputation by participating in music performances and seminars at the national and international level.

The 70th episode of the live show titled ‘Tribeni’ will be aired at 10.00 pm today, Wednesday (September 08) where this music loving couple will join as the guest.
