Panchali song is a special kind of ancient Bengali folk music. Panchali is a type of narrative folk song. Artiste Baul Garib Muktar is famous for Panchali songs.

Baul Muktar will sing Panchali songs at Tribeni, an online-based popular cultural show. He has been singing since his childhood. He has practiced Nazrul and folk music with equal importance with Panchali songs. Hailing from Sherpur, he learned music at the District Shilpakala Academy.
