Chhayanaut teacher Khairul Wasi to sing in Tribeni tonight

Khairul Wasi is a folk music artiste. He learned music from his mother when he was a child. Specially, he is expert in harmonium and tabla alongside music. He received training in various branches of music including folk music for 6 years.

Hailing from Jagannatdi village of Modhukhali in Faridpur, the artiste is teaching in the folk music department of Chhayanaut. He has proved his talent in various music competitions since his childhood. He is a regular artiste of Bangladesh Television, Betar and Shilpakala Academy.

Different genre’s singer of present time Khairul Wasi was the first runner-up in Channel i Bangla Gaan 2015-16. He completed his Honours and Masters in English Literature from Dhaka College. He is lending his voice for various songs.

The 81st episode of a live show titled ‘Tribeni’ will be aired at 10.00 pm today, Wednesday (November 24) where this popular artiste will join as the guest.
