Obese people at higher risk of Covid-19 death by 50

Obesity can increase the chance of dying from coronavirus can increase by as much as 50 percent, said a report.

Even, obesity can reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine of coronavirus, according to the research of a university of North Carolina.

The rate of obesity is highest in USA and UK. According to statistics of US government, 40 percent of people suffer from obesity in UK.

The report reveals that adult persons who are obese - meaning a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or more - are in the severe risk of coronavirus. The BMI of 30 or more increases the risk by 48 percent.
