3 Bangladeshis infected with corona in China for the first time

SM Al-Amin: This is the first time that three Bangladeshis have been infected with coronavirus in China.

On August 20, the country's Jiangxi Provincial Health Commission posted the information on its website. The Nanchang Municipal Health Committee and local Chinese media reported the news.

According to the Jiangxi Provincial Health Commission, three new cases of coronavirus were detected in Jiangxi Province on August 19. They are all Bangladeshi citizens. They arrived in Nanchang on August 18 on an official chartered flight. They are currently being treated at a local hospital there under Chinese government supervision and their condition is stable.

In the interest of security, the identities of the Bangladeshis infected with the coronavirus were not disclosed.

As of August 19, 2020, a total of five coronavirus patients from outside China had been found in Jiangxi Province. Two of them have recovered and returned home. The other 3 who came from Bangladesh are currently being treated at the hospital.

In addition, a total of 930 locals were infected with the coronavirus in Jiangxi Province as of August 19, of which a total of 929 had recovered and one had died. No new locals have been reported in the province for 184 consecutive days.
