Boat capsizes off Libya: Bangladeshis among 22 migrants rescued

Some 22 people including Bangladeshi migrant hopefuls, have been rescued after a boat carrying migrants capsized off Libya’s coast. 16 died in the incident, said International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Libyan coast guard said, the boat had set off from the town of Zliten, east of the Libyan capital of Tripoli, late on Wednesday. The death toll would be increased.
International Organization for Migration said, Libyan fishermen noticed the sinking boat Thursday night. Meanwhile, they managed to rescue 22 people from the water. The survivors include- Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria, Somalia, and Ghana nationals.
