Nobody will be allowed to perform Hajj pilgrimage without being vaccinated for coronavirus, Saudi Arabia has said.
The country’s health ministry made the announcement, Reuters reported on Wednesday (March 3).
According to a report published in Saudi newspaper Okaz on Monday, only those who have been vaccinated for coronavirus will be allowed to perform the Hajj this year.
“The Covid-19 vaccine is mandatory for those willing to come to the Haj and will be one of the main conditions (for receiving a permit to come),” the report said.
