Norway’s Prime Minister Erna Solberg for ignoring directives of social distance to prevent coronavirus spread.
She ignored coronavirus rules while organising a family gathering to celebrate her birthday, police said.
She was fined $2352, police chief Ole Saeverud told a news conference on Friday (April 09).
The two-term Prime Minister Erna Solberg celebrated her 60th birthday with 13 members of her family at a hill station last February. However, according to government instructions, gathering of more than 10 people is prohibited. Erna Solberg later apologized for her actions.
