Global coronavirus cases near 15.5 crore

The number of people affected by coronavirus (Covid-19) across the globe stands at 15 crore 49 lakh 73 thousand 48 people. And the global number of deaths caused by this virus stands at 32 lakh 41 thousand 24 people.

A total of 13,648 people died from coronavirus infections and some 7,75,819 people got infected with the virus worldwide in the last 24 hours.

International survey organisation Worldometer disclosed the information on Wednesday (May 5) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world from last February.
