Banking activities to continue till 4:30 pm

The government has extended the ongoing lockdown until June 16 to prevent coronavirus infection. Banks will remain open during this period.

However, banking transactions will remain open until 3:00 pm while post-transaction additional activities will continue until 4:30 pm.

The Department of Off-site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued new directives in this regard on Sunday (June 06).

According to the directives, transaction activities will go on from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm every day. However, the banks will remain open till 4:30 pm to complete post-transaction additional activities.
