About 36,00000 Covid-19 cases reported worldwide

About 8,891 more people died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections worldwide in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the virus to 56,02,902.

Besides, some 35,69,610 people tested positive for coronavirus worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 34,67,23,193.

International survey organisation Worldometer came up with the information on Saturday (January 22) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
