Homebound people leaving capital

Thousands of city dwellers are leaving the capital today for their homes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

During visit to the capital, it was seen many of the homebound people started thronging at bus and train stations and Sadarghat launch terminal for their village homes to celebrate the Eid this morning (June 14).

To avoid last moment rush, people started to leave Dhaka three to four days before.

Like every year, the home-bound people in Mohakhali bus terminal complained that the ticket prices are too high than the normal time.

Different bus terminals including Gabtoli, Mohakhali and Jatrabari are witnessing unprecedented rush of homebound people. Buses from north and south zone are leaving as usual from morning.
