Video clips of Aarong's change room: Youth confesses guilt

Sirajul Islam Sajib, a former worker of Aarong’s Banani outlet, confessed before a court to his involvement in the recording video in a ‘change room’ for female staff of the outlet.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Dhiman Chandra Mandal recorded his statement on Tuesday.

Earlier, investigation officer inspector of Cyber Security and Crime Division of DMP Azharul Islam produced him before the court. Later, the accused was sent to the jail.

On January 25, Sub-inspector Faruk filed the case against Sajib with Banani police station.

On January 16, a young lady filed a general diary with the police station and complained to the cyber security and crime department.

According to the case statement, Sajib allegedly blackmailed the girl by threatening to circulate her obscene video clips that were captured in the hidden cameras of the dressing room earlier.
