Pressure of a huge number of vehicles carrying Eid holidaymakers has increased on Dhaka-Aricha highway.

The traffic congestion on the highway in Manikganj section started to increase after 10pm on Wednesday.

From Thursday (July 30) morning, the pressure of motorcycles, private cars and passenger buses increased.

Vehicles were seen moving slowly near the ghat area due to heavy pressure of the traffic.
