‘PM praised over fighting against coronavirus’

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been praised across the world in fighting against the coronavirus.

He said this while exchanging post-Eid greeting at the ministry’s conference room on Monday.

Zahid Maleque said, ‘Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is being praised across the world because of being able to reduce the death of coronavirus at a significant rate despite a densely populated country. Europe and Amrecia are being globally criticised. Even, our neighbouring country India is also struggling to cope with coronavirus situation. Death rate in compression to detection is now 1.31 percent in our country. ‘

The health minister further said the health sector is now capable to cope with if the number of coronavirus cases increases slightly during Eid.

About coronavirus vaccine, Zahid Maleque said many of the countries are on way to invent coronavirus vaccine. Some countries are also on third phase of the trial. The government is active to get the vaccine first after the discovery.
