Sinha murder: 8 accused produced before court

The eight accused in a case filed over the killing of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan have been produced before the court in Cox's Bazar.

The accused including Inspector Liakat Ali, in-charge of Baharchhara Police Investigation Centre, prime accused of the case, were taken to the court amid tight security around 3:30pm on Thursday.

Earlier on Tuesday (August 4), Sharmin Ferdous, sister of Sinha filed the murder against nine people including Teknaf police station OC Pradeep Kumar.

On Friday night (July 31), Sinha was killed in police firing in Shamlapur police check post in Cox's Bazar Marine Drive.
