No decision yet over cancelling JSC exam: Edu’ Ministry

No decision has yet been announced over HSC examination schedule and cancellation of JSC examination.
The Ministry of Education made the disclosure in a press release on Wednesday (July 12).
It said, ‘Recently, different media have published reports that this year's Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination will not be held that creates misunderstanding among people. The Ministry of Education sought advice from experts on JSC exams in view of the global coronavirus epidemic. The experts have suggested some alternatives with observations. The ministry is reviewing the proposals. In the meantime, some media have published reports that a summary has been prepared on the issue. On the other hand, the date of HSC examination has also been published in reports published by different media.’
‘The Ministry of Education is considering various options for over JSC and HSC examinations considering the coronavirus pandemic. However, no final decision has been made yet. Considering the concerns of guardians and students, the final decision will be taken soon in this regard, which will be informed through press releases in electronic and print media,’ the press release read.
Guardians and students are specially requested not to be confused based on information of any unsupported media, according to the press release.
