Flora appointed new additional director general of DGHS

Director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora has been appointed as the new additional director general (planning and development) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A gazette notification, signed by Sharmin Aktar Jahan, deputy secretary of the health service division, has been issued in this regard on Thursday (August 13).

The order will come into effect from August 20, the notification said.

Earlier in 2016, Meerjady Flora was appointed as the director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
