34 die of coronavirus, 2766 new cases detected in last 24 hrs

A total of 34 people died of coronavirus across the country in last 24 hours, raising the total number of death to 3,591.

 Meanwhile, a total of 2,766 new cases were detected in last 24 hours, raising to total infected people to 2,71,881 across the country.

Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) made the disclosure in a press release on Friday noon.

Of the dead, 28 are males while 6 females. Of them, 33 died at hospitals while another breathed last at home.

Of the dead, 18 are from Dhaka division, 2 from Chattogram, 4 from Rajshahi, 1 from Khulna, 1 from Barisal, 4 from Sylhet, 2 from Rangpur and 2 from Mymensingh.
