Two groups of BNP men clash in front of Gulshan office

Two groups of BNP activists locked into clash in front of the party chairperson’s Gulshan political office in the capital over nomination on Saturday (September 12) noon.
Police were deployed in the area till the report was filed at the afternoon.
Abul Hassan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station, confirmed the news to risingbd.
He said, “Two groups of BNP activists locked into a clash on Saturday noon, leaving some people injured. A huge number of police and RAB members have been deployed around the office.”
According to police and witnesses, aspirants of by-polls were asked for interviews at 5:00pm on Saturday. So, aspirant S M Jahangir Hossain and Kafil Uddin of Dhaka-18 appeared there with their activists and supporters. Then, they locked into a clash.”
