Bar council written exam on Sept 26

Bangladesh Bar Council written exam for enrolment as an advocate will be held on September 26 as the authority is yet to take any decision on the deferment of the exam.
When asked, Bangladesh Bar Council's Vice Chairman Advocate Muhammad Yusuf Hossain Humayun told risingbd that: “No decision has been made yet to defer the Bar Council written exam for enrolment as an advocate. As per the rule, date for holding the exam has been announced. So, the exam will be held on the scheduled day.”
Meanwhile, Law Minister Anisul Huq said that he would hold a discussion with the Bar Council’s enrolment committee whether the exam will be held on September 26 or not amid coronavirus pandemic.
On September 5, the Bar Council’s enrolment committee took the decision to hold the written exam for enrolment as an advocate on September 26.
The council took an MCQ exam on February 28, 2020.
It is mentionable that those who pass the MCQ exam can get two chances to pass the written exams.
