‘Corona infection may surge in October-November’

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed all to remain prepared from now on, saying that coronavirus infection may witness another increase in October-November.
She issued the directive at a cabinet meeting held virtually at the Prime Minister’s office on Monday (September 21). The Prime Minister chaired the meeting.
After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam came up with the information.
“Coronavirus or Covid-19 infection may witness another increase in October-November. That’s why, the Prime Minister asked all to remain ready to face it,” the cabinet secretary said.
He also said that an inter-ministerial meeting would be held tomorrow (September 22) to adopt preparation and plan in order to combat the second phase of corona infection.
