ACC to sue Shahed, DGHS director

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to file a case against five people including chairman of Regent Hospital Mohammad Shahed alias Shahed Karim and director of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Aminul Hasan.
The anti-graft body approved the decision to file the case against them from its head office in the capital on Wednesday (Sept 23).
ACC director for public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed this to risingbd.
It is learnt that an allegation has been brought against them for embezzling Tk 3.34 crore in the name of sample tests for coronavirus and its treatment costs in the case approved by ACC.
