Covid-19: Bangladesh reports 28 new deaths, 1540 cases

28 more people died of coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours, raising the toll to 5,072 across the country so far.

Besides, 1, 540 new cases were detected during the same period, taking the total number of infection at 3,55,384 across the country.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Thursday (September 24).

Meanwhile, 2,139 patients made recovery from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number recovered people at 2,65,092 across the country so far.
