The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has summoned its lawyer Advocate Yunus Ali Akhand for posting a ‘derogatory’ status on Facebook over virtual courts.
The court also relieved him of his court activities for two weeks.
The court asked him to appear before it on October 11.
The Appellate Division bench, led by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, passed the order on Sunday (September 27).
Additional Attorney General Murad Reza took into cognizance the Facebook post of Yunus Ali Akhand.
