Details of bank accounts of MP Ratan, wife summoned

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned documents of bank accounts of Ruling Party MP (Sunamganj-1) Moazzem Hossain Ratan and his wife.

A letter was issued to General Manager (GMP of the Financial Intelligence Unit of Bangladesh Bank from ACC headquarters on Sunday (September 28) on Sunday.

The letter signed by ACC’s assistant director Mohammad Neyamul Ahsan Gazi asked all documents of MP Moazzem Hossain Ratan (NID: 3279683676) and his wife Mahmuda Hossain Lata (NID: 19793279675114).

Earlier, ACC grilled MP Ratan on February 18. After interrogation, MP Ratan said, “A quarter is trying to harass me politically. I myself was vocal against corruption. I set up 30 offices of Awami League. I do not have any illegal wealth.”

When asked, he said, “I have no any illegal wealth nor any house in abroad.”
