The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested JMI Hospital's Chairman Abdur Razzak on a charge of supplying fake N-95 mask.
He was arrested from the commission’s headquarters in the capital's Segunbagicha on Tuesday noon.
A team of ACC led by its Director Mir Mohammad Joynul Abedin Shibly arrested him.
ACC Public Relation Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharjee confirmed the news.
Earlier on July 8, the anti graft body quizzed Razzaq over allegations of corruption in purchasing masks, personal protective equipment (PPE) and other materials.
