Covid-19: Bangladesh reports 26 new deaths, 1488 cases

26 more people died of coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours, raising the toll to 5,219 across the country so far.

Besides, 1,488 new cases were detected during the same period, taking the total number of infections at 3,62,043 across the country.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Tuesday (September 29).
