UNO Wahida discharged from hospital

Dinajpur’s Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wahida Khanam, who was seriously injured in an attack by miscreants, has been discharged from the hospital.

She was released from National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital on Thursday noon.

Professor of the hospital Dr Zahid Hossain confirmed this.

She will be taken to the Paralyzed Rehabilitation Center (CRP) in the capital’s Mirpur.

She has almost made recovery. She can now walk on her own. Doctors believe that it is possible to recover completely by taking therapy, the doctor said.

Mentionable, miscreants entered the dormitory of the Upazila Parishad premises late night on September 2 and attacked on UNO Wahida and her father, leaving them seriously injured.
